Mayes Medical Consulting is a full-service medical office management and consulting company, designed to reduce the stresses experienced by physicians within stand alone medical practices. We accomplish this by providing all aspects of medical office management, including billing, staffing, credentialing, marketing, CAQH Attestation, NPPES Updates and Attestation, Insurance demographic updates, Licensure renewals, Liability Insurance renewals, permitting, staff training, and more.

Tonya, President

Tonya Mayes, President/CEO

Tonya has worked in healthcare for well over 30 years. Starting as a front desk receptionist at 18 years old, Tonya seized every opportunity to learn what was required to run a successful practice.

 

Tonya has taken what she has learned from others successes and failures, and created a program designed to streamline office practices and policies, increase patient satisfaction, increase patient volume and increase revenue.

 

She works well with staff and creates an environment that minimizes staff turnover and reduces office expenses.

 

Tonya holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, and is currently working on her case study to obtain her DBA in Healthcare Management.

We have billing staff on hand that are well versed in all manners of medical billing. Use of our billing team will remove the cost of an in office biller, thereby reducing employee taxes, hourly wages, and workers compensation cost.

Staffing

We have all manners of medical office staff available to place at a moment's notice. With our services you remove the worry of searching for staff, interviewing, and hiring staff. In addition, the staff are employed by Mayes Medical Consulting; therefore, all employee wages, workers compensation and employee taxes are paid by us.

Credentialing

We offer full insurance credentialing services for plans within Florida, and will negotiate the best rates possible. We keep providers informed of the rate offers given by the insurance company, and will renegotiate until you are satisfied.*

*Medicaid and Medicare rates are set by the State of Florida and the Federal Government and are non-negotiable).

Marketing

We offer marketing services to increase patient volume. All marketing materials used are paid for by Mayes Medical Consulting (with the exception of lunches), such as transportation cost, flyers, pens, mouse pads, etc.

Authorization &
Referral Services

We offer a full range of authorization and referral services. We have staff that are versed in obtaining authorizations for services provided in your office. This dedicated staff will submit all authorization requests, update patient records, and check  your schedules prior to appointments to ensure authorizations are available. If the patient's authorization needs more info,  is denied or if it is still pending, your staff will be notified to provide plenty of time to notify your patient.

New Patient
Scheduling

Calling new patients within 24 hours of receiving a referral, is a great way to boast patient volume. We have dedicated staff that will do just that. In addition, this staff also notifies the referring provider once the patient is scheduled, via fax, and uploads all referral documents sent.
